Gratitude Journals
The present moment is the only one you truly have.
I began keeping a gratitude diary three years ago as a means of manifesting. Every day, I express gratitude for three things that I now have and three things that I am manifesting. At first, the concept seemed a bit esoteric, but as time passed, I realized that most things that I put pen to paper would eventually map to reality. And something about the action of writing things down helps to clarify the intent of my thoughts, which then makes them more tangible.
Furthermore, being grateful of what I now have allows me to focus on what I have rather than what I need - shifting my mindset from scarcity to abundance, which allows me to be more mindful as I discover the small joys in each day. It's a mental muscle that is developed over time, but it has a significant impact on my psychological strength.
My thoughts?
Keep things simple. Write down six gratitude statements every day when you wake up: three things you're grateful for right now and three things you're working on. This can help to quickly shift your outlook on the day, redirect your attention away from negative things that might happen, and refocus it on positive things that have happened.
Try it out and let me know what you think! :)
